#Run video without silverlight in firefox download
I realize that I can download each training video as a. , but I checked and the Silverlight plugin crashes IE8 regardless of which training video I'm trying to watch, since all of them require Silverlight. The URL for this tutorial video that crashes the IE8 when it has the Silverlight plugin enabled is with the Silverlight plugin enabled, IE8 tries to reload the video tutorial page over and over and puts itself in to a crash loop of recovery and crash, etc., etc., then closes that tab because it doesn't I need to disable the Silverlight plugin in IE8. it appears that many people have just given up with this question and they uninstalled Silverlight and forgot about it. that is an easy yet ineffective excuse.īy reading a number of other threads started by people with the same problem, I can see that this is happening in Chrome as well. The fact that the Silverlight plugin will not work in Firefox either tells me that this isn't a browser Resetting the settings in Tools>Internet Options does not fix this problem, and one shouldn't have to reset everything to accomodate the Silverlight plugin. I'm wondering if any of the experts have figured this one out and didn't but I didn't see any actual solutions in any of the threads on this subject. I came on to this forum to see if anyone else is having the same problem and apparently many people are. the silliness of it doesn't go un-noticed. This is a bit ironic that the MS EE 4 app tutorial video for creating Silverlight videos is crashed by the Silverlight plugin. Now, if I try to watch an Expressions Encoder tutorial video, Silverlight crashes Internet Explorer 8. A few days ago installed the Silverlight plugin since it is required to watch some MS tutorial videos and online content.
